Staying at Gasthof Bauer in Steyr was a delightful experience. The room was spacious and cozy, with charming wooden floors adding to the traditional Austrian ambiance. The owners were incredibly kind, going above and beyond to make us feel at home - even refusing payment for breakfast due to a misunderstanding. Dining under the chestnut trees, we indulged in delicious, homemade meals crafted from local ingredients, a true taste of Austria. The intimate guesthouse exuded warmth, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood just a short stroll from the historic town center, allowing us to explore at ease. This hidden gem truly embodies Austrian hospitality and traditional charm, making our stay unforgettable.
